Established in 1930, the Hampden Football Netball League is South-West Victoria’s premier competition coordinating. The competition has 10 active clubs involved across the region spread between Camperdown, Hamilton, and Portland. The league has approximately 2,300 football participants across senior and junior grades.

The Warrnambool & District Football Netball League was founded in 1946 and encompasses the city of Warrnambool and the surrounding dairy regions. The league presently has 10 active clubs fielding approximately 1,600 football participants across senior and junior grades.

The Mininera & District Football League spans the rich grazing and cropping country in Western Victoria. Comprising of 12 clubs, the league has a rich history having been established in 1921. The competition presently has approximately 1,400 active football participants across junior and senior grades.

The South West District Football Netball League was founded in 1970 and consists of 8 clubs in the far South-West corner of Victoria. The league caters for the region surrounding Portland and Hamilton with approximately 720 active football participants in reserve and senior grade competitions.

The Greater South West Junior Football League was founded in 2019 and is the amalgamation of the competitions formerly known as the Portland Junior Football Association and the Hamilton Junior Football League who each have long and proud histories. The league has 8 clubs fielding approximately 500 football participants in junior grades. 

The Western Victoria Female Football League is an emerging competition that commenced in 2017 to cater for female-only participants across the broader region of Western Victoria. Growing in popularity, the competition is made up of 10 present clubs fielding approximately 500 participants. Clubs are spread in and around the major population centres of Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland and Horsham. The competition presently has a senior and junior grade.
